Renewing Certificate of Use (CU) - License
Certificate of Use (CU) must be renewed annually
Renewals for the following Business types are required along with the below mentioned documents:
1. Private Schools /Educational Child Care Facilities per Section 30-60.25 (c)
o Certification of License Department of Children and Families, (childcare facility)
o Provide a letter with student enrollment count
2. Family Day Care per Section (Adult Living Facilities) 30-60.25(c)
o Certificate License Agency for persons with disabilities (APD)
3. Home Office per Section 30-60.25(c)
o State License, if applicable
4. Vacation Rental per Section 30-60-20
o State License

· Renewal Fee: $72.00 per license.
· Documentation: See details above
· Certificate of Use Number: Keep your current license number handy to complete the process.
Steps to Renew your Certificate of Use
1. Click on Renew to begin.
2. Enter your current Certificate of Use number to proceed.
3. Log In to your account.
4. Follow prompts updating information in the yellow boxes if necessary.
5. Click Renew to continue.
6. Make Your Payment
o Online: Select Pay Invoice, then click Make Payment to pay online.
o By Check: Click Print instead of Make Payment to generate your invoice. Deliver both invoice and check to the Village by mail or in person.
By Mail: Make checks payable to: Village of Palmetto Bay Business Tax Receipt 9705 East Hibiscus Street Palmetto Bay, FL 33157
In Person: Visit the Village cashier during business hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, excluding holidays).
